Privacy Policy
How Utin handles account information, connected social account data, content, sharing, retention and deletion requests.
Last updated July 13, 2026.
What Utin does
Utin helps registered users manage the social accounts they choose to connect. Depending on the feature and the permissions granted, users can prepare or publish posts, manage comments or messages, and review account performance.
Information we collect
We collect the information needed to provide the service and only access a connected platform after an authorized user completes that platform’s authorization flow. This can include:
- Account information.
- Connected account information, such as account identifiers, names, profile images, authorization status and access tokens.
- Content and settings a user creates or manages through Utin, including posts, comments, messages, publishing settings and automation rules.
- Technical information needed to secure, operate and troubleshoot the service.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, connect selected accounts, perform actions a user requests, display the content or reporting needed for those actions, troubleshoot the service and protect accounts from unauthorized access. Utin does not sell social-platform data, create unrelated advertising or eligibility profiles from it, or use it to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
Connected social platforms
Meta: Facebook, Instagram and Threads
For Meta features, Utin may receive the Pages, Instagram professional accounts or Threads profiles that a user is authorized to manage; their identifiers, names and profile images; authorization tokens and permission status; and the posts, comments, messages, reviews, engagement metrics or advertising-account information needed for selected features.
Utin uses this data to show accounts a user can connect, publish selected content, manage conversations or comments, operate user-configured automations and report performance for the connected business account. A private reply triggered from a Facebook or Instagram comment is sent only under a rule configured by an authorized account manager. Follow-up messaging begins only after the recipient replies and only within Meta’s permitted messaging window.
Utin’s LinkedIn integration is limited to organizations managing their own LinkedIn Pages. It may receive the authorized member’s basic OpenID profile, Page identifiers and names, Page administrator status, organization posts and comments, commenter fields made available by LinkedIn, aggregate engagement metrics and the OAuth token needed for an authorized action.
Utin uses LinkedIn data only to list Pages an authorized member can manage; publish, edit or remove Page posts a user requests; display Page conversations and aggregate engagement for Page management; and send an explicitly requested Page reply. It does not use LinkedIn data for sales intelligence, lead enrichment, recruiting, employment or credit decisions, individual profiling, social-feed display, resale or bulk export.
TikTok
When a user connects TikTok, Utin may receive the account identifier, display name, username, avatar, creator posting capabilities, permitted privacy and interaction choices, video status and an OAuth token. For a post, Utin processes the video, caption, privacy choice, interaction choices and commercial-content declarations the user submits.
Before a direct post is sent, Utin shows the creator identity and a content preview. The user selects a privacy level from the choices TikTok currently allows, chooses available comment, Duet and Stitch controls, makes applicable commercial-content and AI-content declarations, and confirms the relevant music and branded-content terms. Utin records those choices for a scheduled post and does not silently change them. A user may instead send a draft to their TikTok inbox and finish publishing in TikTok.
YouTube
Utin uses YouTube API Services. After a user authorizes access, Utin may receive the authorized channel identifier, name and basic channel information; OAuth access and refresh tokens; video metadata and processing status needed to upload or manage content; and comments, replies and commenter information needed for an action the user requests.
Utin uses this data only to list the authorized channel, upload selected videos, show upload status, display channel conversations and perform an explicitly requested comment or reply action. Before uploading, Utin shows the selected channel and lets the user set the title, description, tags, category and visibility. A user can review or remove Utin’s YouTube access through Google’s security permissions page .
By using Utin’s YouTube features, users also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service . Google’s Privacy Policy explains how Google processes information.
Utin does not currently offer a Reddit integration or collect data through Reddit APIs. If we add a Reddit feature, we will update this policy before making it available.
Sharing
We share connected-platform data with the relevant platform only as needed to provide an action a user requests. We may also share it with service providers that host, secure or monitor Utin under confidentiality and data-processing obligations, or when disclosure is legally required. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep account and connected-account information while the Utin account or connection is active, or for as long as needed to provide the selected feature. When you disconnect an account, we remove the credential that lets Utin access it and stop future API access.
LinkedIn member profile and activity data shown only to manage a Page is not stored as a lasting customer record. Stored LinkedIn Marketing Data is deleted within ten days after a customer ends the service or asks us to delete it. TikTok creator capability data is refreshed before publishing rather than treated as permanent profile data.
Utin checks retained YouTube authorization and API data at least every 30 days. If YouTube authorization is invalid or revoked, Utin stops access and deletes the associated YouTube Authorized Data within seven days. Information obtained from YouTube is otherwise deleted or refreshed within the periods required by YouTube API Services policies.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls and operational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access. Access credentials are limited to the services that need them to call the relevant platform API.
Your choices
You can disconnect a connected platform under Settings > Social accounts. This removes Utin’s stored credential and stops future API access. You can also use each platform’s account settings to revoke Utin directly. For a full deletion request, follow the Data Deletion Instructions .
