Manage Multiple Brands and Clients

Companies, workspaces and accessSet permissions on the company, then keep each brand's accounts, conversations and campaigns in its own workspace.
PublishingPrepare and publish content across the major channels your audience uses.
Paid campaignsManage Meta, Google and TikTok campaigns next to the posts you publish.

Multi-brand social media management becomes risky when the interface makes every account look interchangeable. Utin separates companies from workspaces so teams can keep membership, access, social profiles, advertising accounts, activity and analytics in the correct context.

Companies and workspaces have different roles

LevelWhat belongs here
CompanyOwner, invited members and each member’s functional access
WorkspaceConnected social profiles and advertising accounts, posts, media, conversations, automations and analytics

A company can contain multiple workspaces. A team can, for example, keep one client in one company and use separate workspaces for distinct brands, markets or operating account sets. The purpose is not extra hierarchy. It is to reduce the chance of publishing, responding or changing a campaign in the wrong account.

Give members only the access they need

Owners and administrators can invite members, remove members and control functional access. Utin separates access into five areas:

  • Administration: members, settings, content, engagement, automations, ads and analytics.
  • Content: posts, media, publishing and YouTube playlists.
  • Engagement: messages, comments and reviews.
  • Automations: configuration, execution and contact enrollment.
  • Ads & Analytics: campaigns, spend, reporting and analytics.

A member can receive one or more of these permissions. The owner’s full access cannot be removed. Permissions apply to the company and its workspaces, so create separate companies when people should not share the same client or brand access.

Choose the correct boundary

SituationRecommended setup
Agency with five clients and different account teamsOne company per client, with relevant members and workspaces
One client with several independent brandsOne company with separate workspaces if member access is shared
One brand with several supported channelsOne workspace with those channels
Franchise locations with different ownership or team accessSeparate companies where membership and operation differ

Build a safe switching routine

  1. Select the company that owns the client relationship and access.
  2. Select the workspace with the correct social and advertising accounts.
  3. Confirm that your functional permission includes the task.
  4. Complete publishing, engagement, automation or campaign work in that context.
  5. Review performance before switching workspace or company.
