Using Utin

Get started with Utin

Set up your workspace, connect a channel and take your first post from draft to publication.

Before you start

Have access to the social account you want to manage. If a colleague already manages your company in Utin, ask for an invitation rather than creating a second company.

Select the accounts that should receive your post.
Select the accounts that should receive your post.

1. Sign in and choose your company

If you are new, open the registration page and enter your Email and Password, after reading the terms and privacy information. Choose Create account to register. If you already have an account, sign in as usual. Then click the company name at the top of the sidebar. Confirm the selected company and workspace before connecting accounts. A company controls team access; a workspace keeps a brand’s accounts and work together.

2. Connect one channel

Open Add Connections, choose the provider and complete its sign-in flow. Return to Utin and check that the intended account appears. Start with one account so your first publishing result is easy to check.

3. Prepare a draft

Open Posts → Create post, select the account and choose Continue. Add your content and required media, check the platform settings, then choose Create draft if the content is not ready.

4. Publish and follow up

To publish now, select Publish now and click Publish. To publish later, select Schedule for later, set the date, time and timezone, then click Queue. Check Published or Queue Calendar afterwards. Follow up on messages and comments under Community, and see results under Analytics as data becomes available.

Check the result

Your account should be visible in Connections and your post should have a status for each account you selected. A saved draft is not a published post.

If something does not work

If a menu is missing, ask a company administrator to check your permissions. If an account is missing, first check the workspace selector before reconnecting.
