Using Utin

Connect Instagram

Connect Instagram to the correct Utin workspace and confirm the selected account.

Before you start

You need an Instagram account that meets the connection requirements, plus permission to manage connections in Utin. Have your sign-in details and any two-factor authentication method ready.

After connecting, check that the account appears in the account selector for new posts.
After connecting, check that the account appears in the account selector for new posts.

1. Choose the workspace

Use the sidebar selector to choose the brand’s workspace. Open Add Connections and locate Instagram under Social media.

2. Start the connection

Choose Connect Instagram or Connect another account if an account is already listed. Sign in on the provider’s page. Use the Instagram identity for the brand, and follow any professional-account requirements shown during authorization. Check the handle after returning to Utin.

3. Review access and return

Read the permissions and account selection before approving. Follow the sign-in and approval steps until you return to Utin. If you cancel along the way, check whether the connection was saved.

4. Check the connected account

Return to Connections and check the name. Open Create post to confirm the account is available in the intended workspace, then leave without publishing if you are only checking setup.

Check the result

The Authorization stored status means Utin has saved the connection. The platform still checks permissions and account requirements when you publish or use other features.

If something does not work

If the wrong identity appears, check which provider account you signed in with. If the account is missing, check the workspace, provider permissions and any error shown after returning. Resolve any permission error before trying to connect again.
