Using Utin

Read advertising reports

See how your campaigns are performing and compare the right dates, currencies and results.

Before you start

You need Ads & Analytics permission in Utin and access to the ad account you want to use. Check that you have selected the right company, workspace and ad account.

Filter campaigns and choose the reporting period before comparing results.
Filter campaigns and choose the reporting period before comparing results.

1. Open the reporting view

Go to Ads → Overview and wait for campaign performance to load. Use Platform and Campaign to narrow the report. Totals cover the selected campaigns on the current account page; check the account range above the filters before treating them as company-wide totals. Choose 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or Custom dates → From / Through → Apply dates. Keep the displayed reporting timezone with the dates.

Under Campaign performance, use Columns to choose useful measures and click a column heading to sort. Moving to another page of accounts changes which accounts are included in the totals. Refresh now requests fresh provider data; read the updated time and any coverage or error notice afterwards.

2. Inspect a campaign

Open a campaign to see details from its ad platform. On Meta reports, use From and Through for the period and read About results or About cost per result when available. The result depends on the campaign’s objective.

3. Compare like with like

Record the period, what the result measures and the account currency alongside the figures. Check coverage and refresh notices before using a cross-account total. A saved report can remain useful even if its latest refresh failed.

Check the result

Use the details for each platform to understand the totals. A missing report does not tell you whether spend was zero. Compare the same type of result, such as clicks with clicks or signups with signups.

If something does not work

If values differ from the provider dashboard, compare timezone, date range, attribution and freshness. Follow provider-limit messages rather than repeatedly requesting the same failing refresh.
